GLENSWILLY GAA CLUB NOTES

€2,900 raised with superb Guest Tea!

The organisers of the Guest Tea would like to thank to everyone who
helped in any way in ing the event a huge success on Friday night
last.
Thank you to those who prepared the hall, to the table hosts and
hostesses, to our ticket sellers and tea makers, to our fantastic
traditional musicians and to Alex Black and friends.
A special thanks as usual to Dietmar for his help with the sound in the hall.
Thank you to Lidl, Port Road for supplying the milk and Donegal
Stationery for other supplies.
Thank you to the sponsors of the raffle prizes – Michael Murphy
Sports, Hue Hair Salon, Gildea Butchers, Geraldine Diver and The
Sandwich Co.
A great night was had by all and €2,900 was raised for the club.

Seniors and reserves

The senior reserves had a good win against Glencolmcille in the
Gaeltacht at home on Sunday afternoon and are through to next round.
The seniors were beaten by two points against Ardara in Ardara.

Memorial Cup

The Susan Carr and Elaine Winston Memorial Cup start in Glenswilly at
10am on March 14th next. Everyone welcome to come watch and there will
be four teams participating. Al send you on the teams ok. Glen and
Termon anyway

Minors

The minors play Buncrana on Sunday afternoon next at 12.30pm in
Glenswilly. This is the first game of season and fans are asked to
show their support for the lads.

Help

A quick reminder that anyone interested in helping out at training for
underages teams need to be garda vetted and have child protection
course completed. Please contact Annemarie McDaid.

Registration night

The next and final registration next Friday night 18th March between 7
and 9pm. Garda vetting forms will be available also.

U14 girls
Training will restart this Saturday 3.30 to 5 PM on the training
pitch. Everyone is welcome. Please bring gum shields, water and €1.

Bingo

Bingo continues in the hall each and every Wednesday night starting at 9pm.

Lotto

There was no winner of the lotto jackpot last week. The match 3 winner
was John Murray of Derrora. The winning numbers were 12,13,19 and 20.
And remember – if you’re not in, you can’t win!
