Did you make a hames of St Valentines, fail to get your loved one flowers or treat them to a good night out? Well, Buncrana GAA is coming to the rescue! Club Presentation night will be on Saturday 21st Feb. Tickets €15 each which includes a buffet followed by presentations and disco. This promises to be a good social occasion and will generate funds for the club too…go on, share the love! Tickets can be purchased from:

Pauline Grant 0864401203

Mary McKinney 0863169809

Claire McCarron 0863340965

Good Luck Lads

The Club is rooting for our two former members, Matty Deeney and Declan Walsh, who will be lining out for their clubs in the Junior Club All Ireland finals next weekend – Matty Deeny for football with John Mitchels of Liverpool (and Declan Walsh in hurling with Fullen Gaels of Manchester. Both players played all their underage Football/Hurling with Buncrana and its good to see the Club nurturing such future talent.

Bums on Seats…

Bicycle seats that is! The Club needs 20 committed cyclists to take part in our Mizen to Malin Club Fundraiser later this year. So far we have around half that but we need a few more to ensure the event goes ahead. There will be a meeting in the Clubhouse at 8.30 pm February 17th so please come along if you want to get involved in any way.

Starting from Mizen on June 30th and ending in Malin on July 5th, the Club has earmarked this as our major fundraising event for 2015 and will be donating a good slice of the proceeds to a local charity. This event will be a prime example of our Club fundraising to support our young people’s activities and contribute to local community development at the same time.

Anybody interested in doing the cycle or helping organise please contact Brian Stokes. This is a massive undertaking and lot of support roles need to be filled. See you at the meeting on February 17th!

Donegal GAA Yearbook

Donegal GAA Year Book is available now. This is a good read and amazing to see how much the club achieved in 2014 – here’s hoping we do as well or better in 2015. For your copy contact Grainne on 0864650200.
